Annie,

Catching rainwater off of your asphalt shingle roof is no problem for use in your garden. Most everything will be purified by your soil. I have a company that sells a range of rainwater tanks and barrels at some of the cheapest prices you will find anywhere. Check out www.CatchTheWater.com for more information about our tanks and barrels. For gutters, unless it is a really small one, I recommend hiring a gutter company since they can get seamless gutters that will work much better than the Home Depot stuff. I have recommendations for gutter professionals as well if you would like.

Need assistance to get set up. Gutter supplies and tank. Suggestions on harvesting with asphalt shingles? Will be using for garden.
